You think that you want to start your own paranormal group. It is tuffer than you think. First you have to think of the
reason for it. Did you see a t.v. show and say hey that looks cool I want to try it. or do you truly want to investigate the
paranormal. This site will give you some insight on what it takes to start and maintane a group. First I do not and will not
tell any one just to go out and start with no guidence. I always tell poeple that ask me how to start is read every thing
that you can. Information is power. I and not every one will take this rout I did 5 years of case study even before I
stepped foot on my first real investigation. Then after you have a good grasp on the subject. Contact a good group in your
area most groups will be very open to you and answer all questions. And ask if you can tag along on an ivestigation and most
will say yes and be happy to help you on the right path it's much better to teach and help rather than clean up your mess
later. And I would recomend joining the group if you can and learn the craft from poeple with experience. A Dr. did'nt learn
over night and neather will you. and after you have some real world experence I would like to say 1-2 years if possible. I
know many of you reading this will say your nuts theres no way I'm going to do all this even before I can start my own group.
Most that are reading this will have no clue of what it takes. I have seen many fly by night so called paranormal groups come
and go. witch only hurts ones that are realy trying to help poeple and do some real research. I would recomend a group
that has more than 3 years under it's belt if that's posible. Now if you are willing to do the work and study. And you will
never stop learning and changing your thoughts and felling on many things. I have a very good friend and respected investigatore
Brian Leffler fornder of Northern Minnesota Paranormal Investigators and author of Ghost Minnesotas
other natural resource. He told me of a case of a young woman and her son that were assulted by a "ghost" such as bite marks
and enviremental manipulation. I did not beleave untill I saw evedence of it. and that is one of the greatest parts of
this feild. The second thing I recomend and know may of you will not agree. All equipment must be analog. Analog is the only
true way of evidence collection. I will cover the equipment and pre-invesigation but I will not cover investigation
the reason is I want you to go to a group for that. That must be on the job training. Any one that offers a training course
over the internet and tells you that you will be a trained paranormal investigator is full of sh*t. Do not fall for that stuff.
